Woman arrested after allegedly hitting multiple people with car

A woman has been arrested by Elkhart Police for felony Intimidation and misdemeanor Criminal Recklessness after allegedly hitting multiple vehicles and two people with her Chevy Malibu.
Police were called on Monday, March 25, on reports of her attempting to hit vehicles on Wolf Avenue near Oakland Avenue.
Witnesses say 21-year-old Diamond Dancler had a verbal altercation with her boyfriend’s family, threatened with a gun, and later struck two individuals with her car.
Dancler claimed self-defense, stating people were on her car, fearing injury if she drove away, according to ABC 57 News.
She was taken to Elkhart County Jail, and her car was impounded due to false plates.
