One person injured in shooting at River Shore Apartments in South Bend

One person was injured in a shooting that happened at River Shore Apartments in South Bend.

Officers were called just after 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, to the complex in the 3500 block of Northside Boulevard where they found a female victim suffered from an apparent gunshot wound.

She was taken to the hospital with injuries that were determined to be non-life-threatening.

Officers have not released any suspect information, but they say there is not an ongoing threat to the public.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
