Mishawaka’s former City Hall to see renovations

(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)
Mishawaka’s former City Hall will soon see some renovations, and a new lease on life.
The building was bought by the United Way of St. Joseph County for one dollar, and the work has already begun on the building, which might have been torn down instead.
Eight million dollars in federal funding from the Coronovirus Relief Act has helped breathe new life into the building, which will benefit more than just one community group.
The mayor and common council have both been behind the project from the beginning.
