Looking to enjoy The Great Lakes this summer? Chances are that Michigan will have above-average temperatures all summer long.
If you’re interested in recreation…namely boating or the beach…that’s good news.
But Bridge Michigan reports that the state could see impacts in the areas of droughts, wildfires, and heat-related illnesses. It could also lead to greater-than-average algae blooms.
The prediction follows a record-warm winter.
Temperatures in April were an average of 3 to 5 degrees warmer than usual.
