South Bend woman headed to prison for role in robberies

A woman is going to prison after being a lookout for two robberies.
Melissa Fisher, 42, of South Bend pleaded guilty to two counts of unarmed robbery. She was sentenced to 36 months to 15 years in prison.
The robberies happened in June of last year at the Admiral gas station on Chicago Road in Niles and Store 12 at Bakertown Road and U.S. 12 in Bertrand Township.
There were also robberies in the South Bend area near the same time.
