Trump wasn’t the only GOP Presidential hopeful who had a good day in Indiana’s Primary on Tuesday

White House, Washington DC

Donald Trump easily won Indiana’s GOP Primary for President. But he still took an interesting hit.

Nikki Haley, who withdrew from the race in March, grabbed more than 21% of the votes on Tuesday. It’s the latest in a series of signs that there is persistent discontent among Republican voters.

She has had similar strong second place finishes in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania in their recent primary elections. Haley, the former South Carolina Governor and Ambassador to The UN, has not endorsed Trump since the end of her campaign for the White House.

She took nearly 27% of the vote in Michigan’s Primary. Haley’s support from 1 in 5 Republican voters raises questions about how they will vote in the fall.
