Monday is the beginning of Michiana Bike to Work Week. It’s an annual community tradition, and the South Bend Police will be using the occasion to introduce a new addition to their department:
Police e-Bikes. Thursday, the department held an event at their headquarters on West Sample Street to reveal the new bikes and share more information about bike safety.

Will they be using those e-bikes to finally deal with the mentally ill individuals who keep playing in traffic and picking fights with motorists in downtown SB?
If not, the whole “bike to work” thing seems like a REALLY bad idea…
