Two boys, ages 14, 12 hurt in crash in Elkhart County

Two children in a vehicle involved in a crash in Elkhart County were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The collision happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at the intersection of County Road 40 and County Road 21, when a Toyota Sienna driven by an 18-year-old New Paris woman disregarded a stop sign and struck a Toyota Highlander driven by a 44-year-old Millersburg man.

A 14-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy in the Millersburg man’s vehicle suffered stomach and rib pain.

The New Paris woman who police say caused the crash suffered shoulder pain.
