A 36-year-old man accused of burglarizing a California Road home did not see his bond lowered last week.

Jeremy Shult allegedly burglarized the home in January. A call came in, reporting that Shult was inside the home, had multiple warrants, and that the caller, a youth, had gone outside and was hiding behind a fence.

When officers arrived, they saw Shult exiting the home and attempted to apprehend him, though he fled by vehicle before continuing on foot.

He was eventually apprehended and officers were able to estimate about $6,000 worth of items were taken from the home.

According to The Goshen News, he was told on Thursday that his bond would not be lowered.
