Young girl recovering after being struck by SUV

A young girl is recovering after being struck by an S-U-V in Goshen.
The collision happened around 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, in the 500 block of U.S. 33 in Goshen when a child ran out into the road.
The girl was struck by a Chevrolet Traverse.
Goshen Police say the vehicle appeared to have run over her foot.
She was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
