A Goshen man has pleaded guilty for his role in a Fort Wayne murder.

Cody Clements has reportedly pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal in a murder that happened in 2021.

After a vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash and the occupants fleeing, officials searched the vehicle and found the dismembered remains of a 55-year-old Fort Wayne man.

A receipt from Lowe’s in Goshen led them to believe that there were three suspects in the murder, including Clements, who eventually told police that the other men picked him up to help them get rid of a body.

Clements’ sentencing is scheduled for October 10.
