Injury crash in Wayne Township under investigation

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Marcellus Highway and Glenwood Road in Wayne Township.

The collission occurred around 6:25 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

A 22-year-old driver from South Bend was traveling south on Glenwood Road when he reportedly ran a stop sign, leading to a collision with a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old resident of Eau Claire, who was heading west on Marcellus Highway.

The Eau Claire resident was taken by ambulance to Lakeland St. Joseph Hospital.
