A hunter from Cedar Lake died after falling from a tree stand in Starke County.

It happened around 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, in the area of South 700 East in Knox.

Indiana Conservation Officers say Larry Sedwick, 53, was *not* wearing a full-body safety harness when he fell from his tree stand. He died at the scene.
