Man arrested for possible patricide

A man has been arrested after his father was found dead during a welfare check last week in Starke County.

Deputies responded to the home on Donna Street in North Judson on December 6 to check on Landon Minix, who hadn’t been heard from in three days. They discovered a heavy gas odor and found Minix deceased in the home.

His son Timothy Minix was named a person of interest and arrested on December 7 in Fulton County. He’s charged with murder, felony murder, burglary and theft.
