Shooting victim walks into Frances Branch Library in South Bend

A man who’d been shot walked into the Francis Branch Library on Ironwood Drive in South Bend.

It happened around 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Police believe the shooting occurred on the 1200 block of Miner Street, not at the library.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
