Elkhart police arrested two Michigan residents Saturday morning after they were caught trespassing at CTS Electronics Components Inc. on Beardsley Avenue.
Elkhart Police were called to the facility around 7 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, after a 911 call from a facilities manager reported a man and woman inside a fenced-in area. The suspects fled on foot when confronted.
Police later identified the individuals as Jonathan Nehring, 40, of Lawrence, Mich., and Toni Allen, 37, of Cassopolis, Mich. Both were arrested and booked into the Elkhart County Jail on preliminary charges of burglary.
In addition to the burglary charge, Allen faces a charge for possession of marijuana with a prior offense. Authorities also discovered she had an outstanding, unrelated warrant.
