The South Bend School Board voted to not move the Kennedy Academy K-through-5 program to the LaSalle facility. This, two years after the Facilities Master Plan was adopted.
Instead, school board members say the Kennedy facility will now get a major maintenance makeover and continue to operate as is. The topic could be revisited next year.
During the meeting on Monday, March 3, Mansour Eid was officially recognized as the interim superintendent.
