Driver arrested for OWI after crash injures road worker

A road worker was injured after a suspected drunk driver crashed into two stationary vehicles on County Road 17 near County Road 30.

The crash occurred around 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, when a 2021 Dodge 2500, driven by Antwan Little, 45, of Brooksville, Kentucky, was traveling northbound. The vehicle struck a Ford F350 and a Chevy Silverado, both of which were stopped in the northbound left lane for road repairs.

A 59-year-old Mishawaka manwas between the two stationary vehicles at the time of impact. He sustained head and body pain and was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The drivers of the parked vehicles were not injured.

Little was cited and later incarcerated for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
