A man charged with a string of burglaries has been sentenced by plea agreement.

Police responded to Speedway on Lincolnway East in January of 2024 for reports of a suspicious person who was running toward Lippert Components Plant 50.

Police confirmed that the vehicle was also used in another burglary in 2023.

Officers were able to locate the suspect, identified as Vence Allen, and video footage from Forest River showed the man moving wire between the building and fence line.

The Goshen News says Allen pleaded guilty to theft and to being a habitual criminal offender. He was sentenced to three years with the IDOC suspended on probation.
