Juvenile shooting suspect to face charges as adult

(Tommie Lee/MNC)
A juvenile suspect linked to multiple firearm-related incidents in South Bend will face charges as an adult court.
Carter Dixon, whose age has not been disclosed, was identified as a suspect in three separate investigations involving firearm possession and gunfire incidents back in November and December.
Following a review, the State of Indiana filed petitions for a preliminary inquiry into each case, formally identifying Dixon as the suspect.
Prosecutors then requested that he be waived from juvenile to adult court. With that, Dixon will be tried as an adult.
The charges include Criminal Recklessness, Dangerous Possession of a Firearm, and Aggravated Battery. His bond is set at just under $125,000 cash.
