(95.3 MNC)
A Michigan man was killed in a crash on I-94 in Berrien County.
Emergency crews were called around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24, to the stretch of the interstate near the Indiana state line.
They say an eastbound semi-truck crossed the cable barriers and struck a westbound truck on the driver’s side.
The eastbound driver, Jeffrey O’Neal, 45, of Livonia was ejected and later died from severe injuries.
The Illinois man driving the westbound truck escaped injury.
The crash shut down two westbound lanes for hours. An autopsy on the driver who died is expected.
