WATCH: Video released of events leading to shooting at GoLo in South Bend

On Sunday, March 23, around 5:40 p.m., South Bend Police responded to Memorial Hospital on the report of a walk-in gunshot wound victim.

Through the investigation, officers and detectives learned the shooting occurred just minutes prior at the GoLo gas station in the 1900 block of Miami Street in South Bend. The victim ultimately suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Violent Crimes Unit is releasing the following video in an effort to help identify additional witnesses in this case. The clip shows the moment leading up to the shooting but does not include the shooting itself. The images show several people were at or around the gas station when this incident occurred.
