The South Bend Cubs will open their season next week as renovations at Four Winds Field continue.

Crews are adding a new playground and splash pad, set to open in May, and a “Fun Zone” ready by opening day. A second deck and four-story suite building will be finished by 2026.

To ease parking concerns, the team secured two new lots, including a 400-500 space weekend lot.

The Cubs also announced a country concert on August 27 featuring Tyler Hubbard, Drew Baldridge, and Colt Ford.

Team President Joe Hart says the upgrades will enhance the fan experience for years to come.
