Man taken into custody on warrant during burglary call in Goshen

A man was taken into custody after officers responded to a reported burglary at a home in the 1600 block of West Wilden Avenue.
Goshen Police were dispatched just before 5 p.m. on Friday, May 2, and made contact with individuals inside the home.
During the investigation, officers identified Jerrod Reece, 46, a homeless man, who was found to have an active warrant out of St. Joseph County.
Reece was arrested at the scene and later transferred to the custody of a St. Joseph County deputy.
