Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales warns Hoosiers about a phishing attempt targeting state email systems.
The fraudulent emails impersonate state-affiliated sources like “txtag” and have been sent to individuals and organizations connected to the Secretary of State’s Office.
Officials are collaborating with the Indiana Office of Technology to investigate and block the suspicious messages.
Recipients are advised not to click on any links or attachments in these emails and to delete them immediately. Morales’ office emphasizes that if there are concerns about a request from the office, individuals should contact them directly.
