A man accused of stealing a vehicle had his jury trial continued last week.

Police were called to Dahab Auto Sales and Repair in Elkhart for reports of a stolen vehicle in January.

An employee said a man had taken the Chevrolet Traverse for a test drive and never returned it, though the salesman did not get a copy of the man’s driver’s license, so he did not know his name.

The Goshen News says surveillance footage at a nearby gas station helped to identify the woman the man was with, leading to the identification of Roy Turnipseed.

Turnipseed’s trial was continued from June 23 to August 25.
