An Indiana mother shot a convicted child molester who attacked her daughter in a hotel Room, say police. It happened May 24 at the Baymont Inn on Eagle View Drive in Indianapolis.
According to court documents, the woman left her daughter alone in the room with Bruce Pierce while she carried bags to a car. When she returned, she told police Pierce was on top of the girl, tearing her clothes off.
Investigators say the mother pulled out a gun and shot Pierce multiple times. He was critically injured and taken to the hospital.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
