Man, 21, killed in motorcycle crash in South Bend

The South Bend Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on the city’s west side.

On Tuesday, June 3, around 10:30 p.m, South Bend Police were called to the 3400 block of W. Washington Street on the report of a three-wheel motorcycle that struck a branch in the road and crashed.

Upon arrival, officers located the rider, who suffered severe injuries. He was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

The rider has been identified as 21-year-old Jahawn Horton of South Bend.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
