Family, friends, and Army personnel honored Sergeant Sarah Roque by unveiling a memorial bench at West Noble Memorial Gardens.

Roque’s family raised $10,000 in community donations over eight months to make the tribute, this past weekend, possible.

Police found Roque’s body in a dumpster in October 2024.

Army investigators say Specialist Wooster Rancy is responsible and have probable cause to charge him, though he hasn’t faced a court-martial yet.
