Two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Cass County.
Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Yankee Street and Carberry Road around 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 24.
According to the investigation, one vehicle was traveling westbound on Yankee Street when it was struck by a northbound vehicle that failed to stop at the stop sign on Carberry Road and entered the intersection.
Both drivers were taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment of injuries.
Authorities say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors. Factors into the crash remains under investigation.
