A recent study placed Indiana high on the list of states where vehicle crashes are likely to be caused by a lack of sleep.
The Davidoff Law Personal Injury Lawyers analyzed all U.S. states to identify the ones where drivers are most likely to be involved in an accident due to sleep deprivation.
Research uses key indicators including the number of drowsy drivers in fatal crashes, night shift worker populations, insufficient sleep rates and more.
Texas topped the list, but Indiana ranked 8th with about 1.59% of all fatal accidents in the state involving drowsy drivers.
