A man accused of an armed robbery had his jury trial continued.

29-year-old Davontae White is accused of a Monroe Street armed robbery that happened in September.

The victim told police that he had been trying to evict a woman from the property, but the woman and White allegedly came to the property.

White allegedly hit the property owner in the head with a firearm and stole his son’s phone.

White and the women were said to be dating at the time of the incident. White’s jury trial was continued from June 16 to October 20.
