The South Bend Symphony Orchestra has named their new executive director. Steven Haines assumed the job on Monday, bringing more than three decades of experience in leadership, fundraising, and strategic growth.

Most recently, he was the executive director of the Symphony of the Americas in Florida, and has also served in similar roles in Philadelphia.

He was appointed by a unanimous vote, according to Michiana Business News.
