A pediatrician at the South Bend Clinic is seeing a recent increase in cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease.

The illness, which typically affects children under seven, is now being seen more often in older kids and teens.

Symptoms include rashes, mouth sores, fever, and fussiness.

Doctors say good hand hygiene and surface cleaning are essential to prevent its spread.
