A man accused of robbing a Dunlap jewelry store has been sentenced.

David Juarez pleaded guilty to robbing the Kay Jewelers on Elkhart Road in October of 2023.

Reports say about $19,000 worth of jewelry was stolen during the robbery, and Juarez was linked to the crime through his vehicle on surveillance footage.

The Goshen News states he pleaded guilty to robbery and in exchange, another case of his was dismissed with prejudice.

He was sentenced for robbery to four years at the Indiana Department of Corrections and was ordered to pay back the costs to Kay Jewelers.
