A wind farm could soon be coming to St. Joseph County.

Letters were sent to local community members informing them of the possible farm.

While it seems to be in the earliest stages of development, there was very little information shared by the UKA group who sent the letters.

The German company shared a proposed map, showing a minimum of 5,000 acres to be used for the farm.

The letter claimed the UKA group had been in contact with the county, but county leaders told WSBT that they have not had any contact with the company.

Wind farms are a scam. Proceed with extreme caution. When government subsidies dry up, and they will, they are not viable economically. The word FRAUD comes to mind not to mention the destruction of the land that comes along with them. People in Wyoming are finding out.

Who is going to remove these giant environmentally destructive eyesores when the government teat dries up? This is another dumb idea from the greenie grifters.
