Candlelight vigil held in Mishawaka in remembrance of victims of mass shooting at Michigan church

Nearly 100 people attended a candlelight vigil Thursday at Mishawaka’s Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to honor four church members killed and eight others injured in a shooting at a Grand Blanc, Michigan, church nearly two weeks ago.
The suspect drove a truck into the Michigan church, shot people inside, and set the building on fire. Seventeen-year-old Krissy Dyrhaug, who helped organize the vigil, said she was at her own church when she first heard the news.
“My initial emotion was really scared. When I found out what happened, I felt sad for the victims and remorse for them,” she said.
