A Shipshewana couple accused of business corruption will wait longer for their day in court.
Amy and Brian Howard, co-owners of Howard Salvaging in Bristol, are accused of knowingly buying and selling stolen catalytic converters.
Police say a 2022 investigation found about 500 converters on the property, with many showing signs of being cut from vehicles.
The Goshen News says records showed years of profitable sales to a Michigan buyer. According to court documents, both owners admitted awareness of questionable purchases without proper paperwork.
Their jury trials have been continued to February 2.
