Former East Noble High School basketball coach Brandon Durnell has been fired by the East Noble School Corporation after being placed on administrative leave.

A spokesperson for the school corporation told WANE 15 that Durnell was let go for “inappropriate external communication with ENSC students.”

The school also shared an email exchange between the principal and parents of affected students, which referenced the inappropriate messages sent through the social media app Snapchat.
