Benton Harbor Schools investigating employee conduct allegations

Benton Harbor Area Schools has launched an internal investigation following a complaint alleging inappropriate conduct involving multiple district employees.
According to district officials, the complaint was received on Monday, October 27, and the employees named in the report were immediately removed from their duties pending the outcome of the investigation.
In a statement, the district said it is “unable to discuss details of an ongoing investigation” but emphasized that the matter is being taken seriously and reviewed thoroughly.
“Our top priority remains the safety and well-being of our students, and we are committed to maintaining a secure and supportive learning environment,” the statement read.
No additional information about the nature of the allegations or the employees involved has been released.
