Local girls’ volleyball team rallies community to support families in need

Dunes Volleyball

A powerful act of compassion and leadership, the local girls’ volleyball team is calling on the Indiana community to help support families facing hardship. What began as a heartfelt idea from a group of determined teenage athletes has grown into a community-wide relief effort with food, toiletries, baby items, and cleaning supplies being collected at businesses across Northern Indiana.

Driven by a desire to give back during challenging times, the team reached out to local businesses seeking support, and Indiana Toll Road quickly stepped up as the official sponsor of the initiative, ensuring the effort could expand to help as many families as possible.

“This mission started with a group of young women who simply wanted to do more for their community. Their dedication and compassion sparked a movement, and we’re incredibly proud to see local businesses rally behind them to make a real difference,” said Coach Kelly, 13U Black National Team.

Community members in need are invited to a drive-through distribution event on:

Date: November 16
Time: 11:00 AM CST
Location: Dunes Volleyball Club – 110 Clear Lake Blvd, La Porte, IN
