The Indiana State Board of Animal Health shared four more cases of bird flu have been detected in LaGrange County.
These detections bring the total to 20 detections in the region over the last month.
A flock of 25,000 was reported from a commercial egg layer, and the other three detections come from commercial duck breeders in the area. These flocks range from 1,400 to 3,900 in size.
According to the agency, the impacted flocks have since been quarantined, with a 10km control area active and a 20km surveillance zone in parts of Elkhart, LaGrange, and Noble Counties.
