Two people were arrested after a nine-month-old girl had to be given Narcan twice after EMS said she overdosed on fentanyl residue at a home in North Webster.
Police say the baby had handled a colored pen taken from a bedroom during a birthday party before she started having trouble breathing.
When officers went to secure the home, they found two people-Jacob Lee Watkins and Icy Mae Nine-hiding in a bedroom.
A search of the house and two vehicles uncovered fentanyl-contaminated items, dozens of used syringes, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana pipes. DCS removed two children from the home.
Watkins and Nine face several felony charges, including narcotics possession and maintaining a common nuisance.
