Another Indiana Republican lamaker is coming out against redistricting in Indiana.
Senator Blake Doriot was noncommittal on the topic until Monday afternoon.
Now he says even though he’s long been a supporter of President Trump, he says redrawing Congressional maps mid-cycle isn’t the best way to go and that spreading out all of the Democrats in Lake and Marion counties across the rest of the state’s districts in no way guarantees a 9-0 map.
He says the best way to help the president is to focus on flipping the 1st Congressional District, which has trended toward Republicans in recent elections.
