As Valentine’s Day approaches, the Berrien County Health Department is reminding residents to show love responsibly by getting tested for sexually transmitted infections.

BCHD’s Sexual Health Clinic offers confidential, non-judgmental STI testing, treatment and education through in-person, walk-in and telehealth appointments.

Fast-track testing is also available. Appointments are available at BCHD’s Benton Harbor and Niles offices, with walk-in hours on Wednesdays.

State health officials reported more than 52,000 STI diagnoses in Michigan last year, highlighting the importance of regular testing.
