A “Stand Up for Science” rally is planned for Saturday, March 7, in Niles.
Organizer Naomi Ludman says the event is part of a national day of action supporting research funding and evidence-based decision-making.
The rally will take place at 1 p.m. on the Main Street Bridge, near Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital.
Participants are encouraged to bring signs highlighting how science has impacted their lives, from medicine to environmental protections.
