A jury trial date is uncertain for a man accused in a deadly Osceola apartment shooting. 

20-year-old Daqwan Haze Jackson-Burnett of Elkhart faces a murder charge in the March 2025 killing of Roosevelt Lewis III at the Arbors at Riverbend Apartments.

The Goshen News says during a status conference Thursday, prosecutors raised concerns that the currently scheduled March 30 trial falls during a shortened week because of Good Friday.

Prosecutors say the case likely cannot be completed in four days.

Another status conference is set for March 20 to discuss moving the trial.
