Motorcycle Safety Month recognized in May

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Ride Safe Indiana are recognizing Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month

They’re reminding riders and drivers to stay alert and share the road safely.

Officials say more than 2,800 motorcycle-related crashes happened across Indiana in 2024, highlighting the need for continued safety training.

Governor Mike Braun encouraged all motorists to take steps to help everyone get home safely. Ride Safe Indiana offers statewide motorcycle training courses for beginners, advanced riders, and three-wheel operators.

More information and course registration are available at Ride Safe Indiana.
