A Michigan City man will spend five years in federal prison after admitting to distributing methamphetamine.
35-year-old Charles Pheal Jr. was sentenced to 60 months behind bars, followed by four years of supervised release.
Federal prosecutors say Pheal sold pills he claimed were ecstasy, but the drugs were actually methamphetamine.
Pheal’s lengthy criminal history, including burglary, domestic battery and handgun convictions, were referred to in the case.
