Teenager hospitalized after shooting at Jean Klock Park in Benton Harbor

A teenager was injured in a shooting at Jean Klock Park in Benton Harbor.

The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety said the shooting happened shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday, May 18, following a large gathering at the park.

Police said the teen was shot in the leg and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities closed Jean Klock Park for the remainder of Monday night as the investigation continued. No additional information has been released.
